The open-top design keeps your cutters at your side instead of loose on the bench, ready to grab and drop back in. There is no retention hardware to adjust: the cutters friction-fit into the holster body. The holster body is 3D-printed in the USA from impact-resistant polymer, so it stays slim, light, and rigid through daily wear. The ambidextrous design carries on your right or left side.
